The Allen Civic Ballet is a nonprofit organization funded in part by the City of Allen, Texas.  The company is dedicated to providing affordable and enjoyable dance performances for audiences of all ages, while providing valuable experience to young dancers considering a career in the profession. The Allen Civic Ballet is under the artistic direction of Stefanie M. Best, the owner and director of the Allen Conservatory of Dance.

Allen Civic Ballet presents two productions per year.  "Nutcracker" in December and the "Allen Dance Festival", which showcases several local dance groups in a variety of styles, in the spring.  Company dancers also perform at various dance festivals, including "Dance for the Planet" in downtown Dallas, and "Classical Ballet Festival" in Carrollton.

The company is open by audition and utilizes the talents of local dancers and professional guest artists. The Allen Civic Ballet conducts auditions at the Allen Conservatory of Dance, 602 E.
