The Allen Independent School District serves the rapidly growing city of Allen, Texas, a suburban community located 23 miles north of Dallas.  Student enrollment has more than doubled since 1989, bringing the current number of students to approximately 19,000 in grades K-12.  These students attend one of sixteen elementary schools, three middle schools, one freshman center and one high school.

Allen ISD performing arts includes the Allen Eagle Escadrille made up of the band, choir and drill team; as well as orchestra and theatre.  The visual arts department offers classes in many aspects of the visual arts including: drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, interior design, and much more.
